Every year the public is invited to suggest names for new and unnamed parks, trails, squares, buildings, structures and even public rooms within buildings, as part of the Guelph Municipal Property and Building Commemorative Naming Policy. A naming committee, comprised of City staff, Arts and Heritage Group representatives and Council appointed Guelph residents, will review, score and recommend to Council new names for City assets based on criteria laid out in the Policy.
